The boys and the girl

We took all three kids in for a pediatrician appointment on Monday. Emma had her 3 year check up. She is 28.8 pounds and exactly 3 feet tall. She is little for her age according to the growth charts. Except her head is fairly large. Somewhere over the 50th percentile.

The boys are a different story. Michael is 18 pounds 14 ounces at almost 7 months. (It was technically their 6 month appointment. We got behind on the schedule because of the wait between shots when we moved.) Samuel is 19 pounds 6 ounces. The rest of them (height and head) are average. The pediatrician looked at our car seats and found that they only go up to 20 pounds. We need car seats. But I think we're going to wait until after winter since they are still fitting in the car seats fine. She also asked if we'd child-proofed our house yet. No, I haven't. I cannot find the outlet covers!! I have tons of outlet covers somewhere here, just can't find them. Michael is rolling around quite a bit but he's still slow enough I can keep an eye on him. Samuel is rolling over too onto his stomach and then gets mad because he doesn't like being on his tummy. Neither boy is sitting up well yet, but they're getting there. Neither boy likes cereal, so we're taking a cereal break but will start up again here after the Christmas/birthday craziness is over.

Emma is turning 3 next Monday. Where have the last 3 years gone? It's been fun, but so fast. We're having a birthday party this weekend complete with a big cupcake cake. She wanted a pink cake with purple frosting and she wanted tacos and pizza for her party. So we're having tacos for lunch and ordering pizza for supper. Easy!

I'd loan you ours but my sis has it. plus, I think they'd be one before all this snow melts anyway. :P

And Emma is about the same as N- shorter of course, but the same weight.

If you're ready for baby food, you could just add cereal to baby food. They might eat better with flavor

Love Emma's birthday meal choices! Little does she know how much those choices bless a busy mom of three!
