1. I don't wear makeup. It's not because I don't like to wear it - I'm too lazy to put it on and take it off every day.
2. I've never dyed my hair. Do you see a theme here? I don't want to have to deal with roots as it grows out.
3. I was in 4-H as a kid. I don't remember much about it except I made some projects to be judged and they were displayed at the county fair. I'm sure I have some ribbons somewhere to prove it. Here's what I remember doing for projects: granola, a wooden shelf, a hanging flower arrangement (actually I think my aunt helped me with this one/did most of the work), and I sewed bright multi-colored shorts that I ACTUALLY wore in public (to school) on the first day of 6th grade. I'll post a picture of it when I remember to get it from my parents' house.
4. On that note, I made a dress in Home Ec in high school. I'm sure I could find a picture of that one, too. However, I'm worthless at reading a sewing pattern now. It doesn't seem that hard, but I'm easily confused!
5. I've (we've) been through IVF twice and the second time we were blessed with our beautiful daughter. We also have 3 frozen blastocysts (5 day old embryos - actually one is 6 days old) from the last IVF cycle waiting for the doctor to transfer them to my uterus so they can (hopefully) continue to grow!
