Happy April 13th

It's almost April 15th. K is finishing up on his projects today. Hopefully. Which means he will be working more normal hours for the rest of the year. Yay! The past couple of weeks have been long.

I went to a big consignment sale last Friday and got a bunch of stuff for about $100. Including a bike and helmet for Emma, a little car for the boys when they get older, clothes and a few toys. We have plenty of toys. I also went to Tar.get and Kohl.s and spent way too much. I took full advantage of my parents watching the kids.

I went to MOPS this morning at a different church. Usually I go on the first and third Fridays at our church. It was nice. The speaker talked about love languages for kids. I thought it was very interesting. I'm not even sure what my love language is....so I will be interested to see what the kids have. She said their primary love language probably won't emerge until they're about 5. Right now, where my kids are at, they need all 5 love languages to feel loved. And they still need all 5 love languages even after they turn 5! But one will be more needed than others. (The love languages are: physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time, gifts and good grief, now I can't remember the last one...) Anyway, I left the kids in the nursery and forgot to tell the nursery workers which was Michael and which was Samuel. Ha ha! I didn't even realize it until I picked them up and they asked which was which.

We're looking forward to meeting Uncle B, Aunt M and the kids for ice cream later tonight. I'm excited! I love me some ice cream! And it's warm, actually pretty hot outside. I'm loving the ceiling fans in our house. We didn't have ceiling fans before. They're nice!

I'm so thankful for you that tax time is just about over!

I thought of you when I realized that it was the 13th today. :D YAY! And Pastor Tom told us that our circumstances change, not our love languages. So you might not have one, but two or three, depending on your mood and crazy that surrounds you. It's usually what you do for another the most.

p.s. 10 days :)
