And then today we decided to get rid of her pacifier. Keep in mind that this pacifier is, actually was her best friend. She loved it.
K cut the end off of one of them (I threw the rest away) and gave it to Emma and showed her that it was broken. She really wanted him to fix it. They even got out his tools and tried to fix it. But it was broken beyond repair so she threw it in the garbage. Which was fine until nap time. She'll figure it out.
Let's see... what else could we do this weekend?! Potty train! Or not. I'm not ready for that yet.

Oh what a big day! We miss you all already. The kids are already plotting who gets to sit by Emma first when they see her next.
Good for you! It may be a rough couple days, but she'll get through it. We, on the other hand, are still fighting our way through this finger sucking thing. Sure, you can hide fingers in long sleeves at night, but it seems he just sucks them that much more during the day! Scream!
Hope you are able to rest... deep inside I mean... you are in my prayers!
Hoping this transition from the paci is a short one... and hoping that she's not too dramatic about it.
