Family fun

We had a fall family outing last Saturday. We went to a local apple orchard. It was fun...too warm for fall, but still fun. When we got there, one of the owners told us where to find the apples. They actually didn't have a lot of apples because a tornado had gone through the orchard earlier this summer. Well, I shouldn't say they didn't have many apples, because there were plenty of apples, but they didn't look so good. There were a lot of apples on the ground. Maybe this is normal?

In all we picked 10 good apples, which I still need to make into applesauce. I think Emma had a good time. Here she is in the corn maze. We put her in there to see how smart she really is. Or to take a picture of her by the corn. She's so little.

She helped pick apples for a bit and then decided that she'd rather have some crackers. We also bought a couple of pie (read: cute little) pumpkins and some gourds. Emma loves the pumpkins and the gourds. I'm just waiting for her to take a bite out of one of them...
