Cinnamon rolls and stuff

I grew up eating cinnamon rolls with chili. And since it's fall, I planned to have chili and cinnamon rolls for supper. I even set out the cinnamon rolls to thaw at lunch. Before I realized it is not chili weather! It's 84 outside right now. More like burger weather. Oh well.

Growing up my grandma used to make cinnamon rolls every Saturday and bring them over. (My family lived about 5 blocks from one set of grandparents and across town from the other set. And actually, she still makes her cinnamon rolls we just don't live in the Small Town anymore.) My family would eat cinnamon rolls for breakfast every Sunday. She would make them from scratch. I usually don't make anything from scratch involving kneading and I don't even know if cinnamon rolls involve kneading. I found the frozen kind are great and super easy. And sometimes they come with frosting, too!

I remember staying overnight at Grandpa & Grandma's house and watching her make the cinnamon rolls in the morning. And eating Frosted Flakes for breakfast. I was so disappointed when the sugary stuff on the outside of the Frosted Flakes soaked off in the milk. They really tasted better with the sugar on the flakes...
