Emma

K (my husband) and I have a one year old daughter that I will call "Emma". That's not her real name, but for the sake of privacy on this crazy internet, I'm going to call her Emma. Besides, I really like that name!

Emma is a great kid for the most part. She seems to pick up on things fairly quickly (but it could just be since I'm her mommy). Except crawling. She took a while to learn how to crawl and even then she didn't crawl for long and then she went right to walking. She loves to tell people "Hi!" and "Bye, bye". She loves to pat people on the back - even strangers. Anyway, I say "for the most part" because she, like any toddler, has her moments. Especially when she's tired. And those are the moments that I get to practice being patient.
